About the Role
Monitors operations of a club which can include nights and weekends
Responsible for issue, receipt and control of cash boxes.
Reviews schedule of functions assigned to the shift and ensures completion.
Provides guidance and instruction to staff members concerning required tasks.
Assists manager with work schedules of staff and assigns additional staff as necessary.
Evaluates any problems in staffing, work operations, etc. by researching and recommending solutions to Club Manager.
Responsible for the efficient, accurate, and update of all operations relating to club.
May be responsible for arranging activities such as banquets, private parties, wedding receptions, luncheons and other special events.
Maintains the party reservation book and party contracts.
Requirements
This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Must have leadership experience which provides knowledge of club, restaurant and retail operation. Must have experience in responsible clerical or office work which includes demonstrated ability to perform common arithmetic problems, and making change when receiving payments from customers. Must have experience in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, or other processing of cash items when this includes direct handling of cash items and use of cash accountability control methods. Must have experience which demonstrates ability to provide work direction to other employees. Must possess skill in dealing with the public.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
